Coach's Terms of Use

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using this Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Website signifies your acceptance of any changes.

Services Provided

To use the Platform as a Coach, you must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process, including your name, contact details, qualifications, and certifications. You agree to update your information to ensure its accuracy.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities conducted under your account. If you suspect any unauthorized use of your account, notify us immediately.

Professionalism

You agree to provide ski coaching services in a professional manner, maintaining a high standard of safety, ethics, and expertise.

Qualifications

You must hold valid ski coaching certifications and qualifications in the region you operate. The Platform may request proof of such qualifications at any time.

Compliance with Laws

You agree to comply with all local, national, and international laws, including regulations related to ski instruction, taxation, insurance, and safety. You are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining any required licenses or insurance to offer your services.

Behavioral Standards

You agree to maintain respectful communication with clients and other users of the Platform. Any inappropriate, offensive, or illegal conduct may result in suspension or termination of your account.

No Endorsement

​The Platform does not endorse any specific Coach. You are responsible for the quality of the services you provide.

​Listing Accuracy

​You are responsible for providing accurate details about your services, including your experience, pricing, location, and availability. Misrepresentation of your qualifications, experience, or services is strictly prohibited.

Availability

You must keep your availability calendar up to date. Failure to honor confirmed bookings may result in penalties, including account suspension.

Pricing

The platform will define standard prices based on the type of lessons and level of the instructor's certificate. Coaches also have control over setting your prices for special services. The Platform may charge a commission or service fee on bookings made through the Platform, which will be detailed separately.

Cancellation by Coach

If you need to cancel a scheduled lesson, you must notify the client as soon as possible through the Platform. Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in penalties or account suspension.

Cancellation by Client

Clients may cancel bookings in accordance with the Platform’s cancellation policy. You agree to honor the Platform’s terms regarding refunds or rescheduling.

Payment Processing

All payments for services provided through the Platform will be processed via PayPal or EMT (Email Money Transfer). You agree to provide the necessary information, especially email, to enable payment.

Commission and Fees

The Platform may charge a low commission or transaction fee (no more than 5%) for bookings made through the Platform. You will be informed of any such fees before a booking is confirmed. Certain 3rd party payment processing applications such as PayPal may also charge a fee, which is not controlled by the Platform.

Payouts

Payouts will be made to you after the successful completion of a coaching session, minus any applicable fees or commissions. The frequency of payouts will be determined by the Platform’s payout schedule.

Taxes

​You are responsible for reporting and paying any applicable taxes on your income from services provided through the Platform. The Platform will not be responsible for withholding or paying any taxes on your behalf.

Termination by Coach

You may terminate your account at any time by providing written notice to the Platform. Any outstanding bookings must be fulfilled or canceled prior to account closure.

Suspension or Termination by Platform

The Platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at its discretion, especially in cases of non-compliance with these Terms, fraudulent activity, misconduct, or poor service quality.

Platform’s Role

The Platform acts as a marketplace connecting clients and coaches. We do not assume liability for the quality, legality, or safety of the services provided by the Coaches.

No Liability for Losses

The Platform will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Platform or the services you provide. You agree to indemnify and hold the Platform harmless from any claims arising from your actions as a Coach.

Data Collection

The Platform will collect and process your personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. You agree to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described therein.

Client Data

You agree to handle clients’ personal data in compliance with applicable data protection laws, and you will not use this information for any purpose other than providing services through the Platform.

Changes to Terms

The Platform reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you via email or through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform following any updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
